New work by Diane Bertolo
April 4 – 27
Saturday April 5 from 6–8pm
This group of work is informed by the premise that embedded in every living thing is the algorithm for its demise—a coded time machine ticking from within. The evolving visual language takes pleasure in the spectacle of disintegration and plays with chaos, logic and uncertainty. Together the elements form virtual sentences articulating the unspeakable.
Things fall apart—leaves, trees, bodies, gulfs, glaciers, planets. Acknowledging this—fix, gather, glue and perhaps begin again.
